Presentación a detalle del resultado del primer caso clínico tratado con trombo aspiración mecánica con angiojet en tromboembolia pulmonar en Veracruz que realizamos en la unidad de terapia endovascular del hospital regional Dr. Luis F. Nachón en Xalapa, Veracruz, México y reviso brevemente nuestras teorías sobre la fisiopatología de la tromboembolia pulmonar, aplicando conocimientos de biología celular, hidráulica, mecánica y física así como el comportamiento de fluidos para comprender y tratar racionalmente este padecimiento que es una de las causas de muerte mas frecuente en pacientes hospitalizados en el mundo.

Nachón in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico and briefly review our theories on the physiopathology of pulmonary thromboembolia, applying knowledge of cellular, hydraulic, mechanical, and physical biology as and the behavior of fluids to understand and rationalally treat this depth that is one of the causes of more frequent death in patients hospitalized in the world.
